Preschool Playground The Preschool curriculum is planned appropriately for the age span of the children and is implemented with attention to each child's individual needs, interests, and level of development. The Preschool program provides for the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child through an integrated approach. Learning and play are integrated. Child initiated, as well as teacher directed and supported play and learning, provides the foundation for the early childhood program. Primary Years ProgrammeThe Elementary School has implemented the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate Organization. The PYP is committed to structured, purposeful inquiry, which engages children in their own learning. Age RequirementsExpatriate children who will be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1 are eligible for enrollment. School DayThe Preschool extended day program is from 8:00 a.m -2:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. The half day program is 8:00a.m.-11:45a.m. A nutritious morning snack is provided for all children. A lunch program is offered for all extended day students. Fee schedules are sent out at the beginning of the year. Class Sizes/StaffClass sizes are traditionally kept small, with one teacher and one teaching assistant for each class. SpecialistsThe following specialist classes enrich the Preschool program:
