The Guidance program at AISG assists students in planning and achieving academic and social- emotional goals. Through large and small group guidance students improve their academic self-concept and achieve school success. Students develop an awareness of community as they relate their schooling to life experiences.

Through the PYP framework students develop positive attitude toward themselves and learning. Students at AISG develop strong inquiry-based skills and grow through reflection. Lessons on decision-making and problem-solving help students enhance their interpersonal skills and become more open-minded. We celebrate diversity here and honor the differences that make AISG a balanced and caring environment.

The mission of this program is to assist students as they become effective communicators and confident learners. Teaching both cooperation and independence aids students as they become healthy risk-takers and develop healthy relationships.
