AISG seeks teachers with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Teaching Certification, three years teaching experience, a willingness to participate in extracurricular activities, and an interest in living in a dynamic Asian setting. Previous experience teaching overseas and familiarity with IB and/or AP programs are assets. For the 2010-11 school year, AISG’s salary ranges from net $31,200 to net $67,224 depending on years of experience and advanced degrees inclusive of 10% retirement. Other benefits include professional development opportunities, sick leave, personal days, health insurance, life insurance,disability insurance, daily transportation to and from school (some restrictions apply), and a tuition waiver and free busing for faculty children who meet AISG’s admission requirements. Faculty recruited from overseas also receive relocation flights to and from Guangzhou, allowances for shipping and settling in, a housing allowance, and annual trips home.
