AISG Proudly Hosts the Tri-Cities Tournament

Last Friday and Saturday, AISG hosted the Tri-Cities Badminton and Soccer Tournament! We were pleased to host Western Academy of Beijing (WAB), Shanghai American School Pudong (SASPD), and Utahloy International School of Guangzhou (UISG) athletes and coaches and it was a wonderful weekend of sportsmanship, friendly competition, and team spirit.

Excitement was in the air as AISG hosted its first major sports tournament in three years due to the pandemic. Students, parents, and faculty alike made the trip to the soccer field and badminton center to show their support. It was a wonderful display of community spirit.

The Tri-Cities Tournament was also a wonderful way for students and teachers across the different schools to come together and make new friendships and connections. In addition to team dinners and team outings, the final evening consisted of a barbecue and bonfire, a wonderful way to relax and mingle after two days of athletics.

A huge shoutout to our Athletics and Activities department, along with our faculty coaches, for their organization and support! We’re super proud of our students for their athletic skills, welcoming our guests, and making it an event to remember! Go Rams!
