AISG Social Practice During Winter 2023

In 2021, AISG launched the Social Practice Program in partnership with industry leaders from our AISG community. The program offers Upper Secondary students (Grades 9-12) an opportunity to gain practical experience in a real working environment in their areas of interest, broaden their understanding of various industries, and establish valuable connections for their future careers.

We are proud to report that the program has made a significant impact on the students who have participated over the past three years. We are committed to continuing to grow and improve the program, and we are excited to share our most recent update with you.

Winter 2023

During the winter holiday of 2023, 9 students from AISG had the chance to engage with two leading companies, FedEx China and Mordorf, to gain hands-on experience and insights into the logistics and fashion design industries. The program was a huge success, with the students actively immersing themselves in the day-to-day operations of these industries.

We are incredibly grateful to the AISG community members who generously contributed their time, resources, and expertise to make this experience possible for our students. Their support has been invaluable in providing our students with practical experience and helping them to explore their career aspirations.

As we look ahead to the future of the Social Practice Program, we are excited to provide more detailed insights into the two companies our students engaged with during the winter holiday of 2023: FedEx China and Mordorf. We are confident that this update will inspire and encourage more students to participate in future opportunities.

This observation-based program provided students with a unique opportunity to trace the journey of a package and discover the crucial force of logistics driving today's global economies. Through learning about how different departments work together to ensure the success of in and outbound delivery, students gained insights into how a well-established and international company like FedEx operates behind the scenes.
