The AISG PTA held their annual International Day event! This signature event is one of our favorites every year as our diverse and multicultural community comes together and celebrates with food from all over the world, cultural clothing, and performances!

This year’s theme was “Embracing Differences, Uniting Hearts,” and everyone was invited to wear their national dress! It was incredible to see how many different cultures our community represents.

Our incredible caregiver community comes together every year to celebrate their culture with country booths. Caregivers make delicious food from their native cuisines, sharing so many types of dishes with us! We also had multiple restaurant booths and consulate booths.

Upper Secondary GCED (Global Citizenship Education) groups also had booths, sharing with the larger Guangzhou community all the different causes that students help to raise funds and awareness for. There were games and activities, and our community had fun for a good cause.

A highlight of the International Day festivities was the lively performances! Students dazzled us with traditional songs, dances, and more, while consulates wowed the crowd with their own cultural showcases. It was a fantastic celebration of our diverse identities and a wonderful way to share them with the broader community!
