Giving to AISG
Providing Enrichment and Excellence
Through AISG's Annual Fund, we provide exceptional opportunities that enhance the lives of our students and our community.
The American International School is the longest-established and non-profit international School in Guangzhou. Since we were founded in 1981, AISG and our students have benefited from the generous support of parents, community members, friends, and businesses in Guangzhou. This support has been given through generous contributions of their time, energy, and resources to establish a school that would provide students with an exemplary American education. Recognizing this, AISG has developed a Giving Program to provide a framework for all fundraising and volunteering programs at the school. By supporting the AISG Annual Fund, parents and faculty demonstrate that they believe in the mission and vision of the school and the impact in making AISG a positive and dynamic learning environment.
What is AISG’s Annual Fund?
AISG’s Annual Fund is a school-led fundraising effort where donations are received from the whole school community and where proceeds are used for extraordinary enrichment programs to increase the margin of excellence for the benefit of AISG students.
Through the Annual Fund Speaker Series, we provide exceptional opportunities over and above the curriculum, enhancing the lives of our students and our community.
Hong Bao Campaign
The AISG Annual Fund celebrates the Chinese New Year with its annual Hong Bao campaign. The campaign is a fundraiser for the Annual Fund, but more importantly, it is our annual event that celebrates the ‘beauty of giving’ in many different ways.
A gift is not only a financial contribution, but also an endorsement of the school we love. Through your gifts, you provide opportunities for students, to make a positive impact on the world.
Gifts of all sizes are welcome. It’s important that you give, not how much you give.
Everyone in the AISG Community (parents, alumni, faculty, and staff) is encouraged to contribute to the Annual Fund. Participation shows commitment and support of the school’s mission and vision. Donations are not accepted from prospective or applicant families.
