Apply To AISG
We are delighted you are considering applying to the American International School of Guangzhou.
AISG is highly invested in admitting new families and students who believe in our culture of community, academic rigor, and whole-child development.
We understand moving to a new school can be a big step not just for students, but also for families. We welcome applications throughout the school year, being fully aware that occasionally a family's move to Guangzhou is unexpected and can happen in a short space of time.
PLEASE NOTE: AISG is an international school for foreign passport holders. In addition to different nationalities, students holding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan passports are eligible. People's Republic of China passports are not eligible, per Chinese law.
Our student-centered approach leverages technology and provides creative and differentiated learning opportunities to ensure all learners achieve personal excellence.Kevin Baker,

We encourage you to read through the information below and ONLY begin the application process after reviewing. Please note that a non-refundable and non-transferable application processing fee of RMB2,000 (USD$300) is due, per child, with each application.
If at any stage of the process you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
1. Prepare
It is highly important that you follow these two steps prior to applying, so the Admissions Office can process your submission and provide you with a response as soon as possible:
Step 1
Please review and understand AISG's Grade Placement Guide and read our Statement of Community. The Grade Placement Guide states the typical placements the school makes, relative to your child’s age.
Step 2
Next, it is important to prepare and complete the Required Documents to ensure that you provide correct information and experience no delay or denial in the admissions process. Again, we highly recommend that you prepare these documents prior to applying.
2. Apply
Once you have reviewed and prepared the above information, we invite you to submit an online application form. The Admissions Office will stay in regular contact with you throughout the process and provide you with updates on the progress of your application.
3. Review
Once AISG has received a complete application, the Admissions Office, principal and counselors of the relevant grade level will review the application and determine the best placement for your child.
This may include English as an Additional Language (EAL) testing if your child(ren) are not native English speakers. This applies to all local and international applicants.
4. Response
Upon making a final decision in determining your child's placement, the school will then inform you of the outcome and next steps of joining the AISG community.
