AISG PYP Exhibition 2025

Congratulations to our Grade 5 students who held their PYP Exhibition this week to great success! The exhibition is a culmination of their learning experience in the International Baccalaureate® Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). The theme this year continued to be ‘as a compassionate community we are empowered to take action’, which showcases the AISG mission.

The exhibition took place over two days, allowing our caregivers to attend on the first night and the rest of the AISG community and guests to come and visit on the second day. We held the exhibition at our Science Park campus for the first time and it was incredible to see our students kick-off the exhibition by walking down the grand staircase and sing “Be the Change”, by Sing Up. The performance set the tone for the exhibition and showcased our students’ passion for taking action.

During the exhibition, our students explored their individual interests through engaging research, which inspired them to take meaningful action on both local and global scales. Embracing the IBO's five types of action—Advocacy, Participation, Social Justice, Social Entrepreneurship, and Lifestyle Choices—they tackled pressing issues such as climate change, animal cruelty, mental health, gender stereotypes, and racism. Their passionate investigations highlighted not only their creativity but also their commitment to making a positive impact in the world, showcasing the incredible potential of our young advocates.

The exhibition was set up in the RamSpace and classrooms in the Upper Elementary building. Students were tasked with coming up with creative ways to showcase their research and presentations, which ranged from digital presentations, posters, VRs, simulations, games, activities, and more!

The exhibition was a wonderful community event, with our Grade 2 and 3 students visiting from Ersha and our Secondary students visiting and interacting with our Grade 5 students. We also had students visit from UISG and ISA, giving them a chance to learn from our students and meet new peers.

The PYP Exhibition was a resounding success, showcasing the students' hard work and creativity in a fun and interactive event. The event was filled with fun and interactivity, allowing visitors to engage directly with the impressive projects on display. Everyone left feeling inspired and motivated, having witnessed firsthand the remarkable achievements of our talented students.

We are immensely proud of the dedication our Grade 5 students showed in their commitment to making a positive impact on the world. Their innovative ideas and passion shone through in every project, and we can't wait to see the amazing things they will continue to accomplish in the future. The excitement and energy of the exhibition truly highlighted the spirit of our school community!

AISG’s International Baccalaureate® Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) is focused on learning and growing. We develop the whole child through a transdisciplinary, inquiry approach and place the learner at the center of all we do. Guided by the phases of the Inquiry Cycle, students explore, document, reflect and act resulting in an authentic and personalized journey. Click here to learn more about learning at AISG.
