AISG Shines at ACAMIS VEX National Championships
AISG's VEX V5 and VEX IQ teams from both Lower and Upper Secondary attended the ACAMIS VEX National Championships hosted by the Canadian International School of Guangzhou over the weekend. Over three days, students competed with 81 teams from 25 international schools from all around China.

Our students performed amazingly, with 3 of our VEX IQ teams securing spots at 6th, 20th, and 25th nationally. Our VEX V5 teams also earned multiple awards, earning second place in robot skills, the Girl Power Award, the Sportsmanship Award, and was a tournament finalist.

The tournament featured many different competitive games, such as VEX IQ Rapid Relay, where teams raced to score yellow balls into designated zones within a time limit and VEX V5 High Stakes, where the aim is to maneuver and score rings on various stakes for maximum points.

The competition ignited a spirit of innovation, motivating students to expand their robotics expertise through coding, building, and maneuvering their creations. It aimed to inspire students to apply robotics in enhancing their understanding of Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology, while simultaneously fostering teamwork, self-confidence, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Congratulations to our students for all of their hard work in pursuing their passions in robotics! These tournaments are an exciting experience and allow students to participate in friendly rivalry, develop a greater appreciation for innovation and creativity, encouraging them to further explore the exciting realm of robotics.
