AISG Wins Cultural Legacy Award
Our Director, Mr. Kevin Baker, was awarded the Cultural Legacy Award at the 10th year Anniversary of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Gala! The gala was hosted by APAN, the Asia Pacific and Americas Network.

The award was in recognition of AISG’s Chinese Cultural Heritage program where we celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our host country China and our local Cantonese culture. The program is one of our Signature Programs under our Annual Fund.

Initiatives that our students participated in this year include the Cantonese Lion Dance after school activity, with four of our students performing at the UN this year, and our Cantonese Puppetry after school activity, with our students performing at the gala. We also partnered with the Guangzhou Restaurant 广州酒家, with our students getting hands-on experience learning how to make classic dim sum dishes while learning about the history and cultural significance.

Thank you to APAN for recognizing that we understand importance of celebrating China’s rich cultural heritage! These lifechanging experiences for our students are thanks to our Annual Fund and our community for giving us a chance to provide our students with exceptional transformative learning journeys beyond the classroom.

At AISG, we believe transformative experiences are at the core of learning. That's why we strive to provide our students with a journey of learning experiences that will inspire, encourage, and transform their lives. Click here to learn more about our Signature Programs.
