When Shivansh Dhanuka stepped into the role of Student Council Secretary, it wasn’t just a title—it was a testament to the trust of his peers and his drive to make a difference. Balancing leadership, academics, and volleyball, Shivansh’s journey at AISG is a masterclass in resilience and purpose. Here’s how he turned challenges into growth and left his mark on the school community.

What is your proudest moment at AISG?
My proudest moment at AISG was when I was elected as Secretary of the student council in Grade 11. It meant a lot to me because it showed that my classmates trusted me to represent them, and it gave me a chance to make a positive impact on our school community.

Reflecting on your time at AISG, what experience or challenge has contributed most to your personal growth, and how has it shaped you?
One of the most significant challenges I faced at AISG was managing my responsibilities as a student leader while keeping up with demanding academic commitments. Initially, balancing everything felt overwhelming. But this challenge taught me valuable skills in time management, organization, and resilience.

What specific skill or mindset has best prepared you to adapt to future uncertainties and help you move forward?
Leadership and perseverance have been key skills in preparing me for the future. My leadership roles at AISG taught me how to motivate others, set a positive example, and stay focused even during tough times. Perseverance has given me the resilience to keep pushing forward, despite any challenges that come my way.

What advice do you have for current students to make the most of their experience at AISG?
My advice to current AISG students is to find something you're truly passionate about and pursue it wholeheartedly. Whether it's a sport, club, artistic pursuit, or academic subject, engaging deeply with something you love makes your school experience fulfilling and memorable.
