On Monday, AISG hosted a Career Fair for its Upper Secondary students.
In trying to decide what university to apply to and what to study, a Career Fair is a great opportunity for Upper Secondary students to learn about potential career paths and explore their interests. It It also helps them understand what skills and experiences they need in order to be competitive and successful in their chosen career path. Furthermore, they can get an inside look at what it's like to work in that field and gain valuable information they can use to shape their future.
With 30 experts, most of them from our compassionate AISG community, including parents, alumni, Board members, and more, our students had the chance to learn about a variety of different fields, giving them a chance to ask questions and gain insight into what it takes to make it in their chosen field. It was also a great chance to learn about the educational and experiential qualifications necessary to pursue a certain career and get advice on the best ways to prepare for the future.
The 30 industries represented included:

The real difference about AISG's Career Fair was how students could interact with the presenters. Students had the opportunity to be in small groups with the presenters of their choice, allowing for more personalized conversation and deeper understanding. We observed our students completely engaged in each of their sessions and we could feel the thrill of inspiration!
