IBDP Examinations

Our Grade 12 students started taking their IBDP examinations last week. This is the culmination of two years of study and is the basis of assessment in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. These examinations are the same worldwide and are taken in a strict setting, ensuring that examination results are objective and reliable.

Students take examinations for each subject of the IB – 2 examinations for each Standard Level course and 3 for Higher Level courses. Grades range from 1 to 7, with 7 being the highest. Along with the three additional points that can be earned through Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and the Extended Essay (EE), these points are added for a final diploma result score that universities consider for acceptances and offers.

With the highest possible score of 45 for the full diploma, AISG has traditionally scored above the world average. These scores along with our expansive roster of community service, athletics, and activities, students are provided with the tools they need to enter top universities around the world.
