From Script to Spotlight
The Black Box Theater was transformed into a world of fairy tales… with a twist, as our Lower Secondary thespians presented The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis. This lively, funny twist on classic stories had the audience laughing and cheering from the start.
After weeks of dedicated rehearsals, script work, and creative problem-solving, our students stepped onto the stage with confidence and artistry. They showcased not only their acting, but also their ability to collaborate, think on their feet, and bring bold, imaginative choices to life in front of a live audience.
Performing in the Black Box Theater gave our students a unique opportunity to immerse the audience in each scene. The intimate, flexible space allowed for creative staging, closer performer–audience connection, and bold storytelling choices that simply wouldn’t be possible in a traditional theatre setting. Every seat felt like the front row.
Those lucky enough to attend left with smiles, unforgettable memories, and a deeper appreciation for the talent and passion that thrives within our AISG community. In our Performing Arts program, every production is more than entertainment, it’s a transformative learning experience that connects students, families, and educators through the shared joy of the performing arts.
