How the Transformative Learning Framework Works
AISG’s Transformative Learning Framework, Engagement for All–Being | Connecting | Doing – guides every classroom, project, and interaction. It builds the skills students need for the IB pathway, competitive university applications and success.
At AISG, “Engagement for All” reflects a belief in the incredible strengths every learner brings and a commitment to nurturing those strengths through a unified, whole-school approach.
In partnership with experts – Scott McLeod (Deeper Learning), LeeAnne Lavender (Service), Kristel Solomon (Cultural Responsiveness), and Ellen Mahoney (Social-emotional Learning) – AISG has developed an integrated framework that celebrates the connections across learning, belonging, and student agency.

One community committed to empowering every learner.
Engagement for All is built on three strengths-driven components, BEING, CONNECTING, and DOING, each designed to highlight what students can do, who they are becoming, and how they contribute. Together, they create a learning experience that is meaningful, inclusive, and distinctly AISG.

Being: Elevating Student Voice
Students develop a strong learning identity, and the confidence to speak up. At AISG, we facilitate discussions that challenge dominant narratives and perspectives and encourage critical thinking. This foundation supports IB inquiry, oral assessments, and academic risk-taking, helping students express ideas clearly at higher levels.
Connecting: Culture & Collaboration
Students learn to communicate, collaborate, and understand diverse perspectives–key for TOK discussions, group work, the MYP Personal Project, and PYP learning celebrations, all essential for university success.
Doing: Action & Application

Balanced, Future-Ready Learners
Students learn to manage academics, wellbeing, creativity, leadership, and community engagement–skills that directly support the IB workload balance and prepare them for life beyond school.
What this means for caregivers:
A school where your child feels supported, thinks critically, collaborates with confidence, and develops the mindset and habits that lead to strong IB performance and successful university pathways.
AISG’s framework ensures students leave ready for university, ready for the world, and ready to make an impact.
