AISG Annual Fund Art Exhibition Celebrates Year of the Horse

AISG celebrated the opening of this year’s Hong Bao Art Exhibition at Guo Cai Art Gallery, an annual event that welcomes the Lunar New Year while showcasing our community’s creativity and supporting the Annual Fund. Attendees included students, caregivers, alumni, administration, and distinguished guests.

Since 2019, the Annual Fund Hong Bao Campaign has been a cherished tradition during AISG’s Lunar New Year festivities, nurturing a culture of giving. This year honors the Year of the Horse with an additional theme, Child-Friendly City, highlighting the importance of supportive, nurturing environments for children.

The exhibition features 60 pieces of art from students, caregivers, and alumni, with 128 submissions received this year. 30 of our students have also donated their pieces to auction, with all proceeds going to nonprofit organizations that partner with AISG. It is both a vibrant tribute to the Lunar New Year and a showcase of our collective talent, fostering community and championing the vision of a child-friendly Guangzhou.

As the oldest international school in South China, AISG is dedicated to preserving and promoting China’s cultural heritage through programs such as Cantonese lion dancing and puppet theater. This exhibition builds on that commitment, bringing the AISG community together to celebrate creativity, culture, and the spirit of the New Year.
