AISG Students Perform at the UN!
Happy Lunar New Year! We're excited to share that four of our talented Grade 6 students recently took a trip to the UN headquarters in New York to perform the lion dance for the Lunar New Year celebrations!

Their performance wowed over 400 guests, including UN representatives from more than 100 countries and senior officials from the UN Secretariat. One representative commended the students, emphasizing how their performance not only highlighted the beauty of Chinese traditional arts but also conveyed a powerful message of unity and friendship.

This incredible opportunity was made possible through our Chinese Culture Heritage program, a signature initiative supported by the Annual Fund. The program brought Mr. Zhao Weibin to AISG as part of our Speaker Series, where he worked with Grade 5 students for Chinese Culture Day and helped establish after-school activities. The AISG Lion Dance team has also had the chance to perform at APAN events and other special occasions. Our Chinese Culture Heritage program is dedicated to enriching AISG students' experiences by bringing the intangible aspects of Chinese culture to life!
At AISG, we believe that these life-changing experiences are at the core of learning. That's why we strive to provide our students with a journey of learning experiences that will inspire, encourage, and transform their lives. Our Signature Program Initiative is designed to craft thoughtful and carefully curated programs that will provide our students with these life-changing experiences.
