Costumes and Community!
Halloween is one of our favorite days at AISG, a time when our entire community, from students and teachers to caregivers, gets dressed up, and embraces the spooky season together. Costumes filled the campus, turning every corner into a colorful and creative celebration.
Our Elementary students kicked off the day with their much-loved annual parade which took place on both campuses! Class by class, students waved proudly and showed off their imaginative outfits as they walked the field, greeted by cheers and applause. This year, caregivers joined the fun in person, many arriving in costumes themselves, which made the parade even more festive and heartwarming.
Of course, no Halloween is complete without trick or treat. Students made their way to the office, library, and classrooms, collecting spooky little toys and sweet treats along the way. The excitement of each stop brought smiles, laughs and excitement at what they received.
Elementary classrooms buzzed with Halloween activities, from pumpkin carving to themed games and crafts. Students and caregivers made crafts, played together, and enjoyed tasty seasonal snacks, creating the perfect mix of fun and bonding.
Meanwhile, Secondary students brought Halloween energy into their Spirit Week. The afternoon also brought the Athletic Council’s annual Spook and Spike event, where all of Secondary came together to cheer on our students as they competed in a game of volleyball against their teachers. The dance team also performed an introduction dance in their Halloween costumes! Spirit Week themes and community events like this keep the atmosphere vibrant and promote a strong sense of school pride.
Overall, Halloween at AISG was a fantastic celebration that brings our community together. It was filled with joy, laughter, and a touch of spooky fun, highlighting the vibrant community spirit that makes AISG such a special place to learn and grow.
