As the most globally recognized qualification for higher education, the IBDP increases students’ academic opportunity into being accepted to competitive and selective programs.
IBDP Overall Results
The school's IBDP results are a testament to the resilience of the Class of 2024 and our commitment to providing a world-class education. The highlights of our amazing results are below, but worth noting is how AISG consistently scored above world average in all areas and continues to do so every year. AISG students are primed for success as they embark on their academic pursuits at top universities around the world.
IBDP Subject Results
AISG's IBDP results are not only impressive overall, but our average scores per subject are also noteworthy. The mean core points, combined results of the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course and the Extended Essay (EE), increased 11% to 1.66 and is above the world average of 1.5. Additionally, while several classes scored an average of 6.0 or higher (with 7.0 being the highest score), what is truly remarkable is that many of our classes scored over 15% higher than the world average. This is especially true for all of our math classes, which performed exceptionally well.
The Benefits of an International Baccalaureate® Curriculum
AISG offers the International Baccalaureate® curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 and is on its way to becoming an IB Continuum school. We were authorized in 2004 for the PYP and DP Programmes and became a Candidate School in 2023 for the MYP Programme. These programmes are designed to offer a comprehensive and challenging educational experience.
The continuity of the IB curriculum provides a holistic framework for students to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful global citizens in an increasingly interconnected world. It is a seamless educational experience with consistent approaches to teaching and learning, a deeper understanding of concepts and skills, and the opportunity for cross-disciplinary learning in finding connections and developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
