AISG Soccer Teams Score Big at SDRC!
Our Lower Secondary Division 1 Soccer teams participated in the SDRC Soccer tournament over the weekend hosted by QSIS in Shenzhen. Our Rams competed against the QSIS Dragons, SIS Geckos, UISG Wolves, and AISHK Roos.

Our student athletes played incredibly this weekend, with our girls team placing first and our boys team placing second! We are so proud of our students for their hard work, athleticism, and determination, go Rams!

Tournaments provide an excellent opportunity for our students to establish connections with students from other schools, thereby creating a larger international school community. We are a founding member of SDRC, the Southern Delta Region Conference, a conference for Lower Secondary athletes.

Participating in these tournaments not only enhances athletic skills but also builds teamwork and sportsmanship among our students. The camaraderie developed on the field translates into lasting friendships and a sense of belonging within our school community. Each game is a chance for our athletes to showcase their talents and learn valuable life skills, such as resilience and collaboration.

Our SDRC Championship highlights the breadth of our Lower Secondary athletics program, featuring 36 competitive teams across 6 individual sports and 4 team sports. It's impressive to note that over 70% of our Lower Secondary students are involved in athletics! Go Rams!

AISG boasts the most extensive athletic program of any international school in South China, giving our student athletes the opportunity to participate in the widest variety of sports against other schools both internationally and within China. Click here to learn more about our Athletics program.
