AISG Swimmers Made Waves at Swim Invite

Our swimmers stepped up to the starting block on Saturday for our annual AISG Swim Invite! Lower and Upper Secondary students were very excited to swim in their many heats and relays throughout the day, showcasing their Ram spirit and pride!

Students from ten other international schools in the South China area attended the race, including BISZ, BSG, SIS, QSIS, NCPA, ISA, SGBA, BISG, UISG, CIS, CISGZ, SIS, NASGZ, and BIPH. Our swimming pool and spectator area were bustling with energy as caregivers and friends cheered students on as they swam to the best of their abilities.

Throughout the day, swimmers competed in individual and relay races across different strokes, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Each race was a testament to the athletes' preparation, with many swimmers achieving personal bests. The friendly competition not only highlighted the swimmers’ skills but also encouraged them to push their limits and support each other, fostering a sense of community among the participants.

The AISG Swim Invite was not only a showcase of talent but also an opportunity to build lasting friendships and connections among young swimmers. With the success of this year’s event, we look forward to hosting more swim invites in the future, continuing to inspire the next generation of swimmers and fostering a love for the sport.

AISG boasts the most extensive athletic program of any international school in South China, giving our student athletes the opportunity to participate in the widest variety of sports against other schools both internationally and within China. Click here to learn more about athletics at AISG.
