AISG's Incredible Diversity

This year's PTA International Day was one of the most successful to date, showcasing the incredible diversity we have here in our AISG community!

Here is a summary of the big day in numbers!

Massive rain storm lasted almost the entire event but did not prevent our Rams from packing into our Er Sha Campus to enjoy one of the highlight events of the year. Our community showed how truly dedicated, spirited, and proud they are to be Rams!

Booths sold countless tasty foods and snacks. Delicious American pulled pork sandwiches, tender Indonesian satay sticks, savory Japanese takoyaki, traditional Cantonese dim sum, spicy Korean kimchi, our AISG Boy Scouts' signature bubble tea, the list goes on and on and on!

Student organizations volunteered their time and energy to provide our International Day goers with fun games and snacks while raising awareness for their numerous, meaningful charities and causes.

Countries and regions were represented during the multi-cultural event. From the beautiful clothing to the fantastic food to the impressive performances, this day is a true testament to the remarkable diversity of our AISG families. These countries and regions were able to share their beautiful cultures, showing what it really means to be part of such a supportive and international community of 50 nationalities.

Local and international sponsors from the Guangzhou area helped to make the this year's International Day possible through their numerous donations.

Dedicated volunteers helped run the day. Parents, teachers, and students all teamed up to make International Day 2019 a great success!

Lucky Draw prizes were given away! High-tech gadgets, tennis lessons, restaurant vouchers, and tons more! A lot of happy Rams finished the day with prizes in hand.

Performers took to the stage, sharing their culture and their talent in front of the big crowd.

Centimeters of hair was selflessly donated during our annual Hair4Hope event. The hair will be used to make wigs for cancer patients who experience hair loss during cancer treatments.

LuckyDraw tickets were sold! Almost all of the Rams who attended International Day eagerly filled out ticket after ticket with their names and numbers in hopes of winning big during the two rounds of Lucky Draw.

RMB total profit earned during the incredibly successful day! The AISG PTA will use the profits to further fund divisional celebrations and student enrichment programs, such as their visiting author program.

We would like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors, volunteers, and members of our community who showed up, despite the rain, to celebrate the many different cultures represented across our two campuses. And a huge thank you to our incredible PTA for the hard work and dedication they put into bringing us all together, helping to further build our great RamNation.

Go Rams!
