Best Fit Philosophy

AISG’s “Best Fit Philosophy” seeks to support students and their families through tailor-made, individualized university plans aimed at connecting students to pathways and university programs they are passionate about pursuing. Our graduates’ choices are as varied and unique as they are, and we know students are not just looking for a university but a place where they can grow, thrive, and excel as they enter the next stage of their learning journey. 

Personalized University Planning

Our university counseling program believes that one size does not fit all, and that every student needs a personalized approach in selecting and applying to university that will serve their individual interests, talents, and passions. That's why AISG offers a comprehensive program, including workshops on essay writing, exploring their skillset, choosing the best fit school, and financial aid, as well as parent meetings and individual meetings, among other support offerings. Support is also ongoing from the first year of Upper Secondary, starting with the Career Fair to explore potential career paths, to the last workshop to help them transition to university. Our program strives to equip each student and their families with the resources they need to make the best decisions for their future.

Global Connections

With over four decades of success and an esteemed reputation as the premier international school in Guangzhou, AISG has cultivated unparalleled connections with universities across the globe! Every year, AISG is visited by more than 115 university admissions directors from around the world. Our full-time university counselor's knowledge of the intricate and varied application processes of various countries benefits our diverse student population of over 40 nationalities. This equips and empowers our students to confidently apply to universities worldwide, and ultimately becoming ambassadors of AISG’s vision of “forging a globally connected community.”

Acceptances to Date

It is of little surprise that our university acceptance list thus far reflects the diversity and individualism of our students – with a class size of 63, we have already received acceptances from six countries and over 80 universities!
