Dr. Sandra Chow, believes that preparing students for the future begins with helping communities learn from one another. As Deputy Director and Director of Learning at Nanjing International School, she brings more than 25 years of international K–12 experience and a unique background spanning business, technology, and education. Passionate about the transformative power of innovation in learning, Dr. Chow’s research and leadership focus on intercultural competence, inclusion, and collaborative leadership — empowering diverse learning communities to thrive in an increasingly connected world.
Diana Hu McDowell is an educator, consultant, and speaker with 11 years of experience in addiction prevention and early intervention. She has partnered with schools across five continents, helping students, families, and educators better understand the forces shaping risky behavior — and what communities can do to prevent challenges before they begin. At EdTechGZ, Diana will tackle a timely and thought-provoking question: What can prevention teach us about living in an increasingly dopamine-driven world? Through data, science, and powerful storytelling, she will explore how we can create healthier, more connected communities in a world constantly competing for our attention.
