Ellen Mahoney
Bio:
Ellen Mahoney is the CEO and founder of Sea Change Mentoring, supporting international schools in SEL and wellbeing. An alumna of international schools and a Third Culture Kid, she brings deep cultural fluency to her work. She is a CIS Affiliated Consultant and co-chairs AAIE’s Crisis Management Taskforce. Her publications include Preventing and Responding to Student Suicide, the SEL section of the NESA Instructional Coherence Guide, and the award-winning Surveying the Landscape: Common Practices, Challenges, and Opportunities in International School Transitions-Care. Her organization also published Support Students in Crisis: The Educator’s Guide for Students Impacted by the Trauma of War and Violence. Based in Hong Kong, she travels extensively for her work.
About the Visit to ASIG:
Ellen will provide AISG faculty and caregivers with insights and strategies to support children's emotional and social development. She will also share practical tools and resources to enhance their caregiving and teaching practices.
