Chef Martin Yan, renowned for his motto “If Yan Can Cook, So Can You!,” is a celebrated culinary expert, television host, and author, having produced over 3,600 cooking shows and written 37 cookbooks. With a career spanning four decades, he has become a globally recognized ambassador for Chinese and Asian cuisine, dedicated to simplifying culinary techniques for home cooks. His award-winning series Yan Can Cook, airing since 1978, has educated generations, while his accolades include the James Beard Lifetime Achievement Award (2022) and the Culinary Excellence Award (2023). Remaining an active cultural ambassador, Chef Yan continues to engage audiences worldwide with his humor and passion for cooking.

Martin will work with students and faculty on Culinary Arts, food facts and multicultural food traditions with Pre-K to Grade 12 students and caregiver.
