Welcome Back to AISG!

The 2021-2022 school year started yesterday, and students were warmly welcomed back on campus by their teachers, TAs, and administration. It was lovely seeing so many familiar faces back on campus and greet new ones as they arrived for the first time.

Both campuses were full of students, literally, with AISG experiencing its highest enrollment to date with 1,070 students! With over 200 new students this year, our community is starting the year with great momentum.  

In Secondary, students met in their grade level groups to get their new schedules, meet their teachers, set their expectations for the year, and played icebreaker games to get to know their new classmates. At the end of the day, the entire Secondary School gathered in our 499-seat theater to come together as a community and finally ended the day with a celebratory ice cream! 

In Elementary, students attended a Start of Year assembly, where students were introduced to the theme of the month: “AISG Cares”. August is all about making new friends, and it’s the perfect time as we welcome so many new faces to the Ersha campus. 

Lastly, starting the school year is just one of our many celebrations to take place this year with this being our 40th anniversary! We aim to make this year extra special, with celebrations all year round of this spectacular achievement.
