What Seniors Want You to Know Before the University Journey Begins
Dear Juniors,
The university journey probably feels like something big and slightly intimidating.
But if we are honest, one of the biggest things we would tell you is this: start with habits.
Start with getting organized. Start with asking questions. Start with doing things a little earlier than you think you need to. Start with learning how you work best under pressure. Because when the process does begin to speed up, those habits are what help the most.
It is not about having everything figured out. It is about giving yourself a steadier foundation when the time comes.

AISG teachers see the value of those habits too.

Seniors would also tell you that choosing your university is not about chasing the flashiest name.

That idea is echoed by teachers as well. Esteban Isasi Catala, Secondary Mathematics teacher, advises families to focus on “the best personal fit for their profile.”
And maybe the most important thing to remember is this: asking for help is more than ok!
So if you are wondering when to start, the answer is: now, but don’t panic!
Start with your habits.
Start with consistency.
Start with asking questions.
Start with learning how you work best.
Lean on your support system, your AISG community.
And at AISG, that journey is never one that students take alone.
Good luck, Juniors, we’re cheering you on!
