A Season to Remember: Rams at APAC

The recent APAC soccer and badminton tournaments have been exciting and rewarding experiences for our Upper Secondary students. Each gathering not only highlighted their individual talents but also fostered a strong sense of community and collaboration among participating schools.

Soccer

Our soccer players headed to Korea and Japan to compete, with the girls’ tournament hosted by SFS in Seoul and the boy’s tournament hosted by CA in Japan, with ISB, SFS, SASPD, and SASPX athletes attending the event. Our students demonstrated exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship, with our girls’ team placing third! The event not only highlighted their dedication to the sport but also fostered camaraderie among participants.

Badminton

Badminton athletes headed to Shanghai to compete at SASPD, with CA, ISB, SFS, and SASPX attending. Our players had a fantastic end to their season and showcased their sportsmanship and competitive spirit. The boys ended up winning 3rd, with our mixed doubles and boys’ doubles performing exceptionally as well.

The APAC tournaments offer our students a fantastic opportunity to showcase the athletic skills they've developed throughout the season in a supportive environment that highlights sportsmanship and school spirit. Beyond the competition, these events enable students to connect and socialize with peers from other international schools in the region, broadening their horizons and helping them make friends from around the world.

AISG boasts the most extensive athletic program of any international school in South China, giving our student athletes the opportunity to participate in the widest variety of sports against other schools both internationally and within China. Click here to learn more about athletics at AISG.
